Established in 1993 by founder Lori Litherland (1960-2019), the Litherland & Company team continues to build on Lori's foundation of grit and determination to produce results for their clients.

It is essential to gain a thorough knowledge of your needs, the scope of the roles to be filled including their technical and behavioural requirements, then, working with you, we develop an ideal candidate profile. We will:
  • Perform the search – sourcing candidates through direct industry research, our extensive and up-to-date candidate database in   Agriculture and AgriBusiness, networking and lead follow-up
  • Share our knowledge of the current marketplace with you
  • Discuss and decide on an advertising strategy if appropriate, write and place ads and review and screen responses
  • In all of our conversations, enhance your reputation and build your employment brand to enable current and future hires
  • Assess candidates based on skills & knowledge, organizational fit and potential
  • Arrange your interviews with the selected candidates. We would also share any requirements such as a non-compete clause or   any post employment obligations
  • Provide post-interview follow-up and assist in the decision making process
  • Check references or arrange for third party checking if desired
  • Assist you in securing your chosen candidate and support the candidate in the acceptance of your offer and in their resignation
  • Follow-up with you and the candidate to ensure a successful transition
